Training is held Saturday November 8th and Sunday November 9th, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hero Hoops Teacher Training Level 1
Learn to teach the Hero Hoops Series 1 content in this teacher training.
Day One is an intensive training session that provides the education
you need to become a successful hoopdance teacher. Learn how to teach
over 25 beginner and advanced beginner moves safely, and gain
experience with essential teaching equipment and teaching practices.
Day Two focuses on hoop moves competence, practical application of the
Day One information, and hands-on training.
This teacher training is open to those who possess the hooping skills taught in the Hero Hoops Series 1A and Series 1B.
Day One, November 8th, 2008: Teaching Basics
8 hours covering comprehensive teaching basics in how to convey hoopdance technique safely and effectively in a motivating environment. Includes technical workshops for you to learn
further moves, tricks, and skills and polish your technique, as well as practical training on how to teach safely & effectively. Day One also covers the content of the comprehensive Hooliehoop Instructor Manual.
Day Two, November 9th, 2008: Practical Training
Day two offers further education on hoop moves, an additional 8 hours of practical hands-on training and a proctored exam.
Organic lunch and snacks are provided both days, and the training also includes a bonus class pass to join and assist Rosie in a future class after the training to observe Hooliehoop teaching in action.
After completion of the Hero Hoops Teacher Training, if you would like to teach with Hero Hoops, you will gain access to the Hero Hoops Newsroom, and be provided with a teachers-only Hero Hoops instructional dvd demonstrating the Hero Hoops moves and teaching techniques. After passing the certification exam with a grade of 85% or higher, you may be listed on the Hero Hoops website as an exceptional hoopdance teacher.
